Description

Hi,

I've written to you before about this. When I choose a song from a playlist via Synergy Advance, it goes to that song. Great. If I then choose a different song from a different playlist, it plays that song. Great.

But if I then hit "pause," it reverts to the previous song in the previous playlist when I hit "play" again. Most annoying. It should stay on the chosen playlist.

Butler also allows me to select specific songs from specific playlists, but without any problems. You might want to look at how they do it.

Yes, I remember talking with someone about this in the past. But I just tried to look-up that discussion and I can't find a record of it (nothing from the email address that you used to file this bug report). I *did* find a discussion with a guy named Brian though; and I ended up opening this feature request as part a result of the conversation:

I am not sure if the problem you describe is actually caused by the weird iTunes behaviour described in bug #298 and if I should mark this report as a duplicate of that one. I suspect that they may actually be caused by the same issue. For the time being I am going to mark this bug as depending on that one.

    Rewording the summary for clarity.

Ok, I've now implemented the necessary options for request #394, and I believe that takes care of this issue as well. So adding the fixed-in-prerelease keyword.

I am planning to do a release within the next 24 hours, so if you want to be informed of when the new version is available for download you can subscribe to the announcements mailing list.

Once the new version is out I'll ask you to confirm that the problem you describe here has gone away for you.

0.4 is now out. Full announcement here:

    Marking as FIXED/CLOSED.
