   Clearing your prefs file or rebooting might fix it. I haven't seen this myself. Some basic troubleshooting advice can be found here:

   Installed 1.8, and the floater now is blank. The floater is there, just no information displayed. I'm on

   a

   G5 Dual 2.5 G.

   I have the same problem. I tried what you suggested and that did not work.

   I'm on a 12" Powerbook 1.5 G, and I typically keep the floater set to the smallest size possible. If I scale it up, it does work. So the problem for me is only when I make it as small as possible.

   Ok, thanks a lot for that. I can reproduce the problem here if I set the floater to the smallest possible size. Will see if I can figure out the cause.

   Ok, fixed. You'll see the fix in the next release. Until then, I suggest doing one of the following:

   1. Don't us the smallest size for the Floater.

   2. If you do use it, turn off the display of art/icon in the Floater.
