Description

I love this program, it makes my imac and my ibook so much more functional when im trying to work and dont want to stop to maximise itunes to skip a track... but please add a star rating system and a track/artist/album ticker to it. Currently I have to use another program to get this functionality but always I have to goto to options at login to make it go next to my synergy controls on the menu bar.

if synergy had this built in it would be THE best application on my mac!

    Thanks for submitting the ticket, Mike.

    Just to clarify a couple of points:

    • Can you tell me what you mean by a "star rating system"? Synergy already allows you to set star ratings via hot keys, and it shows star ratings in the floater. Did you have something else in mind? There is a ticket open for clickable star ratings in the menu bar (ticket #59).
    • The "ticker" functionality is on the "to do" list: the ticket for it is ticket #61.

    sorry. i know synergy has this functionality on the menu.. I would like to see it built in to the app so it apears next to the controls on the menu strip. Currently I am using youcontrol in conjunction synergy (synergy has much nicer control buttons, floating notifications and memory usage but youcontrol has a more functional drop down menu).

    This gives me a star rating on the menu strip that becomes a track name/artist/album ticker during playback (roll over to get back to star rating). Im not a fan of hotkeys and really love the graphical display.

    cant wait to see the ticker in a new version soon!

    Ok, thanks for the clarification. I'm going to close this ticket and make a note on those other ones (ticket #59 and ticket #61) noting your proposal that the ticker and the star rating bar should actually be combined.
