Description

I would like to be able to rate the item that is currently playing from the Global Menu. This could be implemented using a Rating submenu or better yet something like the Finder's Color Label contextual menu using stars instead of the colored circles.

    Thanks for submitting the request. I agree that implementing this in the same style as the Panther Finder's label menu would be the most elegant way to do it. Marking as ASSIGNED.

    Just for the record, other ways of setting the rating without bringing iTunes to the front: (a) use the Synergy hot keys; (b) use the iTunes dock menu. For a third proposed way, see bug #59.
