Removal Issues!

    I decided after a quick eval, I didn't want to keep winswitch. Unfortunately (on my OS X.4.3 system) whenever I restart, my user switching menu never returns!

    I tried to re-install and same thing. If I log directly into my account, the user switch menu doesn't come up.

    Now, if I log into the other account on this computer, before I log into mine, and then log into my account, it all works fine.

    Help is needed! this is painful!

    1. Command-drag WinSwitch out of your menu bar.

    2. In the "Accounts" system preference pane, turn on Fast User Switching (to add the Apple Fast User Switching menu extra back into the menu bar).

    Tried that, and it comes back. But the above reoccurs

    Sounds like you have a problem unrelated to WinSwitch. WinSwitch doesn't touch the Accounts preference pane in any way, so if you're having a problem with it then it means something else is the cause.
