BUG: Can not get artwork from itunes Leopard

    Just installed the retail version of leopard. Synergy can no longer obtain artwork from my itunes files, its going to amazon for all of them. This is annoying because When on shuffle with an empty artwork folder I get all ?'s . Yes If i go back to an album later in the week it will have artwork but I prefer my artwork over amazon's anyway. This bug will also increase your synergy traffic on amazon.com considering that now EVERY play equals an amazon cover retrieval.

    I don't have access to the final version of Leopard yet, so can you try out the technique mentioned in this thread to find out if iTunes is actually transmitting the artwork?

    Specifically this bit:

     Code:tell application "iTunes" to get data of front artwork of current track

    Sure. Ran that test. Itunes is responding with artwork. (ie: <<data PICT21400000.....

    if I choose a song with no artwork the same script gives a parameter error.

    Ok, thanks for the info. I'll have a look at the QuickTime conversion stuff and see if that's changed as soon as I get my hands on the final version.
