Problem with Synergy

    I love Synergy--it makes my life so much easier! I bought a serial number and put it in, but every time I shut down my computer and then turn it back on, say the next day, the controller disappears from the top right of my desktop. How can I keep it there so I don't have to re-install it every time I shut down and boot up?

    You definitely shouldn't have to reinstall it. You should be able to set it to launch at login automatically (if you want).

    Go to the System Preferences application, then the Synergy preference pane. In the "General" tab there is a checkbox that you can set to "Launch Synergy at login".

    If you already do have this checked and it's not working, uncheck it and click "Apply", then recheck it and click "Apply". This should force a refresh of your login items and make sure that Synergy launches the next time you log in.
