Synergy Advance Advanced Features

    On the "Advanced" pane of Synergy Advance, I have the option to "increment the track played count when skipping to next track" checked, but the play count is not increasing when I skip. I didn't see this on the list of known issues.

    Definitely works for me regardless of whether I use the Synergy Advance hot keys to skip or the Synergy Advance global menu.

    As noted in the Help it won't work if you skip from inside iTunes itself; you have to do it from within Synergy Advance. Does this apply to you?

    I also wonder if this is related the hot key problem you reported in another thread. If that is the case perhaps you have a corrupt preferences file. Have you tried deleting the file?

    ~/Library/Preferences/com.wincent.SynergyAdvance.plist

    I trashed the preference file, but I still can't assign hotkeys, nor does the track count increment when I do "Next Track: from within Synergy Advance.

    Diomedes, can you provide some information about your system and configuration?

    Maybe email your preferences file for me to look at?
