Description

Hi, Can you hide new song album conver display in Synergy when iTunes is open, because it already displays album cover of song which is being played. Make this option - hide floater when iTunes is in front.

    Thanks for submitting the request.

Sounds like a good candidate for an "Advanced" preference. I imagine it will be possible. I think I can get NSNotifications of when the frontmost application has changed, and from memory I think there's some stuff in the Carbon Process Manager that I can use to find out the PID of the frontmost application.

[Edited summary to correct spelling, remove unnecessary punctuation, and add REQUEST label.]

iTunes 4.8 can now display artwork associated with the currently playing track. I second this pre-4.8 feature request: there isn't really a point in displaying Synergy's floater when iTunes is the frontmost application anymore.

Well spotted. I hadn't noticed that feature in 4.8 yet.

Reworded the summary a bit for clarity.
