I too have noticed Synergy quitting. I haven't yet connected the quitting to any trigger, but it happens to me every 2-3 hours of iTunes play. Weird. (from spike1201)

Can you please have a look at these two reports and see if this one is a duplicate of either of those?
The first issue is a crash caused by NSAppleScript; look at your crash logs and see if the crashed thread mentions NSAppleScript:
https://wincent.dev/a/support/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=640
This is a different issue, which nobody else has reported yet so I can't rule out factors local to that user's machine:
https://wincent.dev/a/support/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=654
Finally, if as you say, there aren't any crash reports, can you look in the Console (/Applications/Utilities/Console.app) and see if anything diagnostic information is printed?

I don't know where to check crash logs, sorry, but I did check out the Console. Searching for "NSAppleScript" came up empty. However, I did see the following list several times per minute (hundreds of these):
2/29/08 12:24:26 AM iTunes[46284] Error loading /Library/QuickTime/DesktopVideoOut.component/Contents/MacOS/DesktopVideoOut: dlopen(/Library/QuickTime/DesktopVideoOut.component/Contents/MacOS/DesktopVideoOut, 262): no suitable image found. Did find:
/Library/QuickTime/DesktopVideoOut.component/Contents/MacOS/DesktopVideoOut: mach-o, but wrong architecture
Not sure what that means, but perhaps helpful to you.
Oh wait, I see a crash reporter in my library/logs. These two lines have something interesting:
10 com.apple.Foundation 0x90d680cb -[NSAppleScript(NSPrivate) _executeWithMode:andReturnError:] + 107 11 com.apple.Foundation 0x90d67fa1 -[NSAppleScript executeAndReturnError:] + 49
And one more thing: Exception Type: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGBUS) Exception Codes: KERN_PROTECTION_FAILURE at 0x0000000000000000
Hope this helps!

Ok Spike, that confirms that you're seeing the NSAppleScript problem, which is being tracked in this ticket:
https://wincent.dev/a/support/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=640
So you might want to add yourself to the CC list for that ticket.
If the crashes are happening too often you have the option of doing what Brandon did and rolling back to version 3.2, which you can download from:
https://wincent.dev/a/products/synergy-classic/download/tiger/

Marking this one as closed seeing as it's a duplicate of issue #640.
