Created an attachment (id=141) Screenshot of the application "DeskTunes" showing the cover with the mirror effect.

HI there,

i have a little cosmetically feature request for Synergy. At the moment Synergy shows the cover of the song with a slight shadow effect. Would it also be possible to add an option the have a mirror effect applied to the cover? In my opinion this is a little buut great looking enhancement to the desktop.

Please have a look at the screenshot enclosed. It shows the little application 'DeskTunes' with exactly the effect i am talking about.

It would be great to see this feature in a future release of Synergy.

    Thanks for submitting the feature request, Alexander. I agree that this is a logical enhancement, seeing as this kind of mirror effect is all over the place in Leopard now (cover flow, the Dock etc).

    I didn't actually know about DeskTunes. From the screenshot looks like it quite faithfully clones the Synergy floater.

    Thank you for the fast response.

    yes at the first look DeskTunes looks like the floater but it has NO options at all. It also lacks of all the other great features Synergy offers so this is no competition at all.

    I am glad that you also like the mirroring of covers. I am looking forward to see Synergy powered with this nice looking feature.

    Thanks to Core Image (Tiger) and Core Animation (Leopard) you can expect some nice visual polish in the future.
