Description

From a user question on the forums:

"Even if iTunes is open, if I select a recently played track from the drop down menu nothing happens - it neither starts playing (if nothing was playing before) nor changes track. What should I do?"

https://wincent.dev/a/support/forums/showflat.php?Number=1052

Did you by any chance quit iTunes before trying to select a recently played track? Tracks in the recently played menu are identified by an ID number supplied by iTunes, but when iTunes quits the ID number is no longer valid.

It's therefore expected behaviour for this to not work if you quit iTunes, but it should work if you leave it running. I'm opening this bug report to track the issue. To overcome this limitation Synergy will have to store recently played tracks using some different kind of identifier (not the ID number).

    User clarification:

"It's OK quitting iTunes, but when I put the computer to sleep it stops working."

Interesting; for me quitting iTunes is enough to stop it from working.
