Bug #423: Synergy 2.8 hangs

From a user email:

"Synergy-Classic 2.8 keeps hanging on me"

The same user also pointed out this comment on MacUpdate indicating that another user has also had problems:

"Synergy stops the service after a while."

I've opened this bug report so that we can collect trouble-shooting information about the issue. I am unable to reproduce the problem here, and "stops the service" and "keeps hanging" don't really give me much to go on. If anyone has anything to add please add your comments. Tips on trouble-shooting and collecting information are available here:
