Feature request #383: REQUEST: Windows version

With the release of iTunes for Windows, many people are asking if there will be a version of Synergy for Windows. The answer is that, for the time being, this is very unlikely. I do not own a PC and so cannot do any PC development work. In addition, all of my experience lies in the Mac world, so getting a Windows program to replicate the beauty and elegance that is possible on the Mac platform could prove quite difficult for me. And, as a one-man company, hiring someone else is out of the question. Another significant barrier is that, to my knowledge (in my total ignorance!), iTunes for Windows has no equivalent of AppleScript or Apple Events (which are used by Synergy on the Mac platform to communicate with iTunes).

Nevertheless, I am not ruling out the possibility of doing the port if the chance arises in the future. It is certainly something that I would like to do when circumstances permit.
