Description

From a user email:

Since I have your attention, I'll extend my luck (I'm too lazy now to register to you Bugzilla database). One feature request that will make my day is the possibility to keep between sessions/reboot the recent played music.

Yes, I agree that would be a nice feature. I did try to implement it once a long time ago but ran into problems. I was trying to store the raw Apple Events that would identify a given track by serializing them to disk, and when I tried to re-use those same Apple Events after a reboot I found that they didn't work. It appeared that the IDs that iTunes was generating for tracks in some playlists (when on shuffle for example) were not stable across sessions.

I think it should be possible to implement this feature, but I'll need to change the way tracks are internally represented in Synergy, hopefully finding a stable ID that is constant across runs. Perhaps the "database ID"? I am not sure.
