Description

Client/server model. Make it easier to install, at least by making it independent of the version of Ruby that Vim is linked against.

Could potentially even write all of Vim-side stuff in vimscript, but I don't think we could talk to a socket from vimscript... And then we have the problem that we'd have a server built in Ruby, and Ruby kind of sucks for concurrent access.

I thought I had a ticket for this somewhere already but I haven't been able to find it.
