Description

Split off from issue #1838:

is it possible to notify the user that the 10,000 file limit has been reached?

It's certainly technically possible although the UI options in a Vim plug-in are pretty limited. Where would you think such a message should be displayed?

I'm not sure where, but as for when - in my opinion - it seems only necessary to display once, when the plugin does the initial scan of the file structure, or after calling CommandTFlush. It's not so serious that the message needs to be displayed all the time.

Closed ticket #1994 as a dupe.

Cross-referencing https://github.com/wincent/command-t/issues/116, where it was also suggested that we show a warning when the limit is reached.
