Can you clarify what you mean in this request, Danny?
When you say "overlay", do you mean the floater? If so, did you know that Synergy already does display the cover art? (See the preferences.)
I also don't really understand your comment about the icon (incidentally, if it's a separate feature, it should be filed as a separate request). What generic CD icon? What icon on the desktop? Are you sure you're talking about Synergy?

Rewording/reformatting the summary to conform to style conventions.

When I play a CD, the floater shows the generic synergy icon, not the CD cover even though I have a constant connection to the net.
As for the generic cd icon... I mean when I insert a CD it mounts on the desktop and uses a generic cd icon. Thats where I thought that it would be cool it it could use the cd cover instead.
If your still confused I'll email you screenshots on Monday (it's installed on my work mac).

Thanks for the clarification. I've reworded the summary to make things clearer (at least in my mind).
Ok, the thing about the generic CD icon on the desktop, that's a Finder issue, so it's outside the scope of Synergy.
As for the icon appearing in the floater and not the album cover, it definitely should work, provided that you have entered adequate identifying information for the tracks in iTunes. Have you tried it with different CDs? Do they have detailed title/artist/album information entered?
The other thing to remember is that download art doesn't appear instantly. It may take some time to appear. Synergy spreads out the queries it makes to the Amazon server so as to minimize the impact on their servers. Queries are put in a queue and dispatched one at a time, spread out. This means that you might not see the cover art straight away, but it may get download minutes later, when you are already listening to another track.
Let's leave this bug report open and we'll see if you (and others) can confirm that neither of the things above are happening.

It's working. It must have just been the CD (it was just released and I forgot that this CD is only available at Hallmark stores, so Amazon wound't have the info). Sorry for jumping the gun.
