Description

Don't want my development and remote machines to get too far out of sync with each other.

May want to try cleaning the old Git from /usr/local/ before installing seeing as the layout has changed a bit with 1.6.0.

Marking as private until the upgrade goes live.

    Ok, the upgrade is now done. Notes made on the process in "Updating to git 1.6.0.1".
