Well, it's been months and still haven't heard back from Russ about the Client ID, so going to try contacting him again today.

Just heard back from Russ and a Client ID has been assigned. My plan is to add last.fm support for version 3.0 of Synergy (currently scheduled for approximately mid-August).
To be informed when the new version comes out you can add yourself to the announcements mailing list.

Current plan is for inclusion in version 3.1, slated for release this October.

3.1 is now officially out. Marking this one as FIXED/CLOSED. No bugs were found during the beta test cycle, so I'm putting out a 3.1 release. Feature enhancements will go into the next release.
